You can try 100/90 too. The difference will be slower switching between low and high beams, and you'll get good light at higher revs (4k+). Don't do anything to the coil. Try switching the RR-unit to that of avenger. Since RR-unit can be unplugged easily, first do a plug-n-play with some one's avenger if possible. See the result and then decide on buying it.

Hey thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that one out.
I've fitted the avenger coil in my bike (pulsar180ug3) and it now supports 55/60W instead of 35/35W. Do u think I could put in a 100/90W bulb in the bike as it is now, OR do u think I'll need to get the coil rewound?

That's ridiculously expensive.. I use a regular Osram 100/90 on my ZMA. It's 80 bucks and beats 60/55. Since its cheap, you could buy one too just to check if that ends up being better for you than others. You can get Osram regular in the same shop(s).

Cool. Thanks. I did check out a number of shops in Nanapeth, but it seems none of they had 55/60W bulbs. I guess I'll try looking for the Philips hoardings in my trip there today

Hey, btw, does a Philips Xtreme Power bulb at Rs.1200 sound like a good deal or is it plain stupidity to buy such an expensive bulb?

Nanapeth.. ask around shops there. Look out for shops which have hoardings that read 'Philips' they will stock a variety of bulbs.

    Hey dude,
Any idea where I could source an Osram Nightbreaker in Pune from?
I've got a Pulsar 180UG3 and am doing te Avenger stator coil mod on it. Need a good 55/60W bulb, so thought I'd PM you.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
