The 220 is BCU laden to control the beams,
if it was without the BCU, it would have been a piece of cake, all you would have needed was 2 SPST relays, that's it.
As i do not have nay experience in BCU and stuff, i won't be able to help you.
There's a thread in the Desi Bike section where Rahuldevnath has done this, he's mentioned all the details.
I guess that should work well.
