hey.. its hell like riding frm mangalore.. from manglr it vl take almost 4 hours to reach gud road, (bcz in june rain i went to mangalore frm kottayam (kerala)- (60km from cochin)- from morng 5.30am ride 512km to reach manglr.. cant even ride more than 50km without rain.. road too bad.. bt i enjoyed it.. so hav fun , do ride n tat route.. now climete far better.. u can do it easily

No alternatives. You'll have to take the NH. I would've suggested you to go via Mysore - Ooty but the road to Madikeri is under work now and it doesn't make sense. The road is bad but can be covered during day easily. Keep me posted on your whereabouts. I just got back in town. Will try n get you an update on the road condition asap.

Good stuff man, read your thread... it rocks! do a couple of small mods on the bike and you might be set to go again!
Get a R15 visor installed, if possible get a old CD100s bubble screen, will save you from bugs and wind blast.. Ever considered pushing it to 135specs?
