Hi jatin...you remember the CRF 230/250 discussion? The ZMA engine is a CRF 230 engine only. See this link:2009 CRF230F Specifications - Honda Powersports

I am actually not very well versed with HID's, why do you want to remove the HID for the trip is my 1st Question ?? R u having some problems with battery charging rate ?? if yes then It is better to go in stock.

you will have to rewind the coil & do full wave current charging to meet your HID current requirment.

One of my frnd has done it for his Uni & thus far it is all going well.
