Hey bro, if in case u visit the SVC can u ask them about the fairing replacement a.k.a the so called "Burning Kit" . Mine is an old Blazing Red model and i wish to know which series of bikes are eligible for it. Please update me with the details ASAP. I asked many times in the SVC's of my area but they are hopeless and they doesnt know anything about it.

    Thanks

yes, the bike did seem to heat up more with the K&N installed. The effect seemed reduced once i put the air-box lid back on. The culprit is the lean fuel mixture. i hope someone finds a place that can tune the bike's AFR....

I got it for Rs 1800/- dude, the sound and growl is quite good !! The mech left the lid open so it is a bit loud, only while accelerating though !!! But i noticed that the engine is getting heated more, what do u say?

how much did u pay bro? i paid Rs. 1890/- for the filter. The sound was toooo loud for my liking, so i put the filter box lid back. Most mechanics leave it open. With the lid back on the bike sounds almost stock, but with a slight growl to it. No real difference in performance. I actually feel the performance has dropped a little. but mileage goes up a lil.. not much tho. jus 2 - 3 kmpl i reckon. Only advantage of this Kn'N i see is that we dont have to keep replacing it like the stock filter.
