Oh sorry i thought the new Fazer. I am not aware of how the coil setup is available in FAZER. Pulsar, Unicorn, ZMA all have different type of setups. Donno how Yammy's ve.

Basic thing you got to do for DC conversion is by removing AC inlet to Headlight switch and power it with DC power that will be available from ignition (i.e key). Then you got to power 2 relays and then control it with Hi/Low beam switches. So the DC conversion is done.

This actually gives power to ur headlight from battery but battery won't be getting charged sufficiently. Kindly go thru this thread. Repeating everything wont be simple and i may miss things too.

If you still have queries then do post it in the same thread or create new one. Either Abhi/Sajan/me or anyone who has done that job can help you.

Try to get Fazer wiring diagram so it ll be easy to figure out.

I own a fazer 2006 model ... the old gladiator... which doesnt have a AC electricals .. i guess ill have to convert from AC to DC. and also go about the rectifier setup. Will this also involve the usage of relays for the switchgear. Can u guide me with where i can get the relays and what type ? I will be making the circuit bymyself. Also about the wire that comes from the coil and goes to the headlight, how do u route this to the battery. Do u need cut some stock cables here ?

Fazer already has DC setup so HID is just plug n play. Just instal relays to save your switch gears.

Im not sure on how to go about the conversion. also my hid kit has the high/ low setup where the low beam is halogen and high is xenon. ..
