Hi there buddy,

I was curious when i read ur post that states u have installed a osram nb on ur fz16.

I had a certain queries to be answered if u dont mind plss:-)

1. How are the reflectors performing, have they remained the same or become dull due to a higher wattage bulb being used?

2. How are u liking the beam and spread, is it worth shelling out 800 bucks on the bulb?

3. How is the battery holding up to the higher demand of Power?

4. Is there any necessity to fit relays or any other mods or is it just a direct fit?

5. And lastly, how is ur overall experience with the bulb?

Really sorry for bothering u with so many questions? Had to clear some points before i make the investment:-)

saw your post on mushroom puncture of rear tire
of fz 16


you said about taking out of your rear tire is it easy or difficult to take out

i had 2 punctures on my rear tire

so i have done it with normal stem puncture do i need to go for mushroom
as of now , i feel there is no problem

but when the puncture was done earlier i guess there was some leakage as i found out by filling air to 33 and it got reduced to 24-26 in few hrs

as of now i feel there is no problem

any suggestions

tnx again,actually the bulb comes as a single piece too,my dealer quoted 800 for it,though many guys here have got it for around 500!
anyway tnx a lot man!

any idea how the batt will be affected?and how much does the bulb cost?and finally how effective and how "white" is it?

have you changed your FZ's head lamps to a HID or with OSRAM nightbreakers?

EDIT-oh wait you are using 60/55w bulb Nightbarker right?w/o any electrical modifications?was it a straight fit?
