Thats about all they do in the 1st service. Here they don't even polish. Anyways, don't be so scared about the oil filter. The vibes are due to body panels, not engine related. Get the allen bolts on the fairing etc.tightened. If there is a specific vibe problem area do lemme know.

And moreover..since the past couple of days..i can hear sum gruff vibrations from the front panel around 6-7 rpm meter range..!
Hope that has got nothing to do with "dirty" oil filter..!

I don't think they cleaned it either..!
I was there the whole time and what they did was..change the engine oil, clean the air filter, check tire pressure, check the battery, check the air pressure, tighten a screw on the handle bar, and clean and polish it..!
Apart from these..they did not do anything..!
And this oil filter..where exactly is it located..?

Hi, the oil filter is recommended for change at 1K kms./1st SVC oil change since during the initial run-in due to the mating of parts there will be metal debris in the engine oil&filter. Since you have got the oil changed, most of it will be gone, hope they have cleaned the oil filter if not replaced it. I guess you can wait till the next oil change&then replace it.

    H..! Remember me..?
Anyways.. I needed your suggestion about something..

The SVC guys here did not replace the oil filter during the 1st service. They were not having it in stock at that time and they said they would replace it in the next service.
Its been almost 800 kms since the first service.
I wanted to know..if i should replace it immediately at the other SVC in my city..or if i should wait till the 2nd service..?

I've already had a discussion about this in the forums..and i got mixed replies..so now i am bit confused.
    What do you suggest..?

Yeah, got one at the SVC itself. But funnily no more stock came after that. If you are interested, you can take mine at half the price I bought it for, since I don't have any use for it-its just been lying around since many months. We can work out how to send it across-maybe as a rail parcel or something, whichever is cheapest&safe.
