Even i do the same thing but i use car's jack to lift it from one end (while the bike is on side stand)... and one more thing be careful while lubing. I've heard a lot of cases of fingers getting jammed in the rear sprocket while lubiong the chain. It's not safe to lube while the bike is running in gear...better you rotate the wheel with hand...
anyways whats the fuel avg you are getting???
    I'm getting around 40~42km/lt...

Thats about all they do in the 1st service. Here they don't even polish. Anyways, don't be so scared about the oil filter. The vibes are due to body panels, not engine related. Get the allen bolts on the fairing etc.tightened. If there is a specific vibe problem area do lemme know.

I'm doing B.Tech in CV raman...
went once to the service centre(UTKAL YAMAHA) to lube it but they charge 150 bucks for lubing it....
now i clean it on my own using kerosene and lube it with WD40 grade oil...works fine for me

Hi, the oil filter is recommended for change at 1K kms./1st SVC oil change since during the initial run-in due to the mating of parts there will be metal debris in the engine oil&filter. Since you have got the oil changed, most of it will be gone, hope they have cleaned the oil filter if not replaced it. I guess you can wait till the next oil change&then replace it.

Yeah, got one at the SVC itself. But funnily no more stock came after that. If you are interested, you can take mine at half the price I bought it for, since I don't have any use for it-its just been lying around since many months. We can work out how to send it across-maybe as a rail parcel or something, whichever is cheapest&safe.

I got the mainstand fitted as I couldn't carry the paddockstand to office. Moreover after some curious person tipped the bike over in my building, I don't wanna use it anymore. If you have a secured residence parking, you can use it. It looks very good.

Yeah, I had purchased it as accessory for Rs.1500, but not using now. Its useful for doing chain lubing etc. I'm looking for someone whom I can sell it to. Are you interested?
