well my average commute would be around 1000 km permonth.......if you just look at the km covered vs mileage figures......r15 turns out to be a good bet.....as 40+ average => around 1000-1100 in fuel costs per month.

But if you check out the other consumables as well........they all are a tad bit higher that your normal bikes. I mean Rs58 for a damn screw is just not what I on a student budget could afford.

Like I said before.......R15 is the bike that my heart wants....and always wanted. P135 is the bike that according to my brain is tailor-made for a student like me. When I have to chose It'll be a battle btw the brain and the heart. I'm biased towards the heart though

go for r15 if u can maintain her easily!
if average is your concern go with p135ls its dam stable b/w 80-105kmph.
budgrt was no concern for me even i was dreaming for r15 but backed out becos i m a student and i hav to travl 75kms daily and i have to manage petrol cost by myself.
my second bike will b a 600 maybe R6(hope so!)

I've zeroed in on r15. But the cost of ownership is scarying me a bit 1115 for rear disc pads 900 for front ones 757 for side fairing 2000 for headlight assembly. It's like having an elephant......though to maintain. Right now the situation is like.....if I think I'll be able to manage the running costs and I have 1lakh cash, then R15......if not then P135 (the 60+ average has got me going......at least I'll have my office friend to tease who went in for a passion pro for 49500 thinking that it'll give him good average)

But lets hope I get the R15..........it's the bike i've like sort of dearmt of owning since i saw it. there was only one blure r15 in my tuition bike parking lot and everyday I used to look at her and think.......LUCKY BASTARD who owns her :P Keeping my fingers crossed
