full fairing vs naked bike. - Page 2 - Ducati Monster Forums: Ducati Monster Motorcycle Forum
    Read post number 13-17-19-20-21
Or wait read all the posts carefully. Everyone will tell you that a naked bike cant be as "Fast and stable" as a faired bike at highspeeds.
There are posts which explain how "naked bikes" are wonders on tracks with less straight and more curves(acceleration) but on a highspeed straight(topspeed theyre unstable)
This is exactly what ive been trying to explain. A Naked bike isnt meant for highspeeds and the Duke is a whole lot lighter for the power it produces = instability at anything above 135-140.
If u look at the Tank And Headlight Design, theyre almost perpendicular to the windblast like | <-----wind
Which is why i infer that the Duke can easily be the quickest but not the fastest.
