Psr sir, i've gone through some irfca posts when i could, the information over there is vast but this gargantuan mountain of information looks intimidating too. i dunno where to start at and some shortforms are hard to comprehend at first, google does help sometimes though.
But i am still of the opinion that if you could make a brief intro post, it would be manyfolds helpful for us. Its fun to swim across a large river at night, but it would be much safer and less of an effort in waste when a swimmer who knows the river accompanies the former.

I am a new member to this excellent forum.I have a troublesome 2008 Karizma.Most members on this forum recommended that I contact you regarding my issue.
My 62 year old dad rode this bike daily while I have been overseas.I'm back now& I realised that the bike's engine feels anaemic.The pick up is decent but the bike soon runs out of breath at about 50 kmph. Beyond that the bike is hesitant to rev harder and labours to 60 kmph with a steady throttle on open roads.The bike seems to hesitates slightly before the power comes on. My dad rode this bike in traffic most of the time so he never noticed the drop in performance.
The Hero service tech did a oil change, routine service, wheel alignment, clutch overall, engine decarbonising, fuel tank flush.
I must add that my fuel tank is rusted on the inside resulting in sludge formation.
I am mechanical engineer with ample riding experience however I am at my wits end.The bike is utterly smooth but cannot ride past 60 kmph at all.

Hello, i have a small doubt and could not get a clear explanation on the net, thought you could clarify it.
My question is, "Is the fi system in Hero Glamour a full fledged fi system? Does it perform all the functions like the fi system in CBR/Ninja etc,...
I got this doubt because there is just 5k difference between the fi and carb version.

also i noticed that after my tappet adjustment, the kicker has become hard & wont kick start now... only electric start working...

can the timimg chain sprocket door be removed without removing the head cover ?

Hello sir, you had mentioned that disconnecting right spark plug will reduce the heat generated in engine, in pulsar 150 ug3 over heating thread. Will it harm the engine in long run or will it affect the performance?
