Bajaj as people say, do care about their customers specially those who have the 220s and 250s and even other segments too, I guess Mel will take this further with garware, he should take this further

This is where Bajaj stands high above any other manufacturer...I have had bad experiences with most other manufacturers, arguing either for my own bike or for friend's sake...but always found the bajaj guys to be courteous.....With the N 650 going well and new 2012 model coming up, along with P 220/250 with improved engine, they are the manufacturer others should fear.

Not the mech alone but also the Dealership..With every new 650 they give away a helmet free, but can't provide and INSIST on one for their Mech., shows a callous attitude.

Agree with you here, without helmet riding is a strict NO in any case...., thats a mistake from the mech's end...

But the mech shouldn't have taken a customer's bike ,without helmet and ride it without control..Testing doesn't mean whacking open the throttle, and ride in a irresponsible way .Now the mech's family will be devastated ...I feel sorry for the family.

Melroy was on a 2500kms iron butt ride on his Hyosung GT 650R and Garware had sponsored it..on the first day when he was in Ahmadabad petrol started leaking, and he had contacted Garware who in turn put R.C.Motors Ahemedabad on the job..It was mid night, and the mech replaced the Fuel pump and took the bike out for test and crashed it at high speed. The mech died on the spot and now R.C. Motors have washed off their hands of the whole thing asking Mel to claim Insurance and blaming him for the Mech's death since he did not give his helmet to him..the mech came from the Dealer without helmet...
