Hey bro! Where is your thread on converting digital pulsars from AC headlight to DC. I have been searching for it but in vain. Please provide me the link. I am badly in need to convert my bike's headlight. Planning a long roadtrip shortly. It would be of great help. Thanks in advance

Actually the problem i am facing is whenever i go for a long ride(consisting of constant high revvs) and park it for a overnight and then in the morning when i try to start, battery will be completely dead. So after experiencing the same things few times, i checked the voltage across the terminals and recorded the data. As far as i know charging voltage should not go above 13.6v. Am i right? All other things are working fine. So i came to the conclusion that my RR is faulty. Am i wrong in this part?

Well, ofcourse the rectifier is not the culprit behind your faulty RR. Secondly, at 16Vs RR also seems to be fine, as in my previous 180 the charging voltage would easily touch 18V sometimes, nevertheless, in any case you need to change whatever stuff has gone bad to stock. I would advice you to go for Amaron 9Ah batteries, it comes with 5 year warranty (3 years pro-rata). If the rectifier is faulty get a new stock one only. Regarding H/L, have you considered a HID or are just looking for a high wattage bulb? I would say go for a HID setup.

Hello bro, My bike is pulsar 200 2007 model. Right now i am down with the dead battery and malfunctioning RR. Need to replace both of it. Could you please advice me which setup would do good for my bike? I need a good headlight too. Till now my bike is in complete stock condition. The issue with the RR is it is giving high voltage to the battery. when bike is running on idle, it measures 13.6volts at battery terminals but when it is revved high, voltage reaches more than 16v at the battery terminal. Oops I forgot to tell you I have done your mod of changing the backlight of LCD console, for that i have used a bridge rectifier circuit. Is this circuit is the cause to get high voltage at battery terminals?

hello bro, please help me source those smd strips. it is not at all available in my place(mysore). People over here dont even have an idea about it. So i guess, i must get it from banglore itself. one of my friend is coming from banglore to mysore tomorrow (on 03/03/10) so if you could tell me the exact place where it is available at banglore. I can ask him to bring it for me. And let me know more specification on those smd's to tell my friend for purchasing. Thanks in advance. looking forward for your response.
