    have u ever measured the output of APE RR voltage and current, i mean without connecting to battery, open ckt. voltage at output of APE RR?

    check my post at the above link....i want to convert my bike to all DC and improve my charging current by rewinding coils, i need exact details. plz help me. can u tell the number of turns of 19 gauge wire on each coil that is needed. i need to know the number of turns.

    I saw your post. Your battery will get drained soon, especially in city traffic. But as you mentioned, basically you have to tap the unused power going to the headlight. Put a custom rectifier and source it to the battery. That's what I successfully did on my P180UG3. Also I had made a single unit, which rectified and charged the battery as the same remove need to install that switch which you have. You can contact me on 9844167129, when you are ready to do the mod. Basically a relay doing the job. I can provide you a 4200K, Chinese bulb for 700 bucks (6Months Warranty). But I would advice you search for it in Pune first.
