    Thanks mate for the reply,

Yeah the silence screws are tight. I'm not too sure about the tappets, I'll go get them checked out.

I don't ride much these days (Daily trips of <15 km) and haven't found that sound again (occurs only when engine heats up nicely).

    Thanks for the advice.

Sorry for the late reply. Well in my case once the CDI was replaced, everything was fine. That's noise was related to one way clutch, on Pulsar220 Carb. But are you sure your tappets are tight and the silencer screws are tight.

    Hey Rahul,

I'm having two issues with my bike,
    1. Once the engine/gearbox has heated up and run for a few kilometers there's an odd noise coming from the engine/gearbox, kinda like a small metal piece is inside and rolling about/getting tossed about inside the engine or the gearbox. The sound seems to be produced only during idling.
    2. Whenever I hit the kill switch (8 out of 10 times, I actually counted it) the engine doesn't go off silently but there seems to be a loud click/clap/tthak sound kinda like a hammer slapping on plastic just as it dies. The other 2 out of 10 times it goes off silently.

I was going through the ownership thread and found you had a similar problem (similar to problem 1 of mine). Could you let me know what you did to resolve that issue?

    Thanks mate,
