Hey bro! Where is your thread on converting digital pulsars from AC headlight to DC. I have been searching for it but in vain. Please provide me the link. I am badly in need to convert my bike's headlight. Planning a long roadtrip shortly. It would be of great help. Thanks in advance

    hi bro.i need your help..
i have pulsar ug3 i converted it to full dc .as i want to install hid currently using 60/55w halogen. i referred all previous post from other members but cant able to by pass bcu as it senses the current
results : headlamp continuously burning when switched on via stock switch..hi/lo beam buttons not working and if u switch off the lamp, still its burning until i switch off via ignition switch. any help will be appreciated.!!!
im pretty confused about that switch thing u told on the thread(converted my pulsar150 to all dc) so can u plz elaborate and help me convert all to dc
1: can i replace my stock BCU with ug 4 full dc BCU.? is it a direct fit or any mods needed.?
2: since i have re-winded my coil all 7 poles to one common output...can i feed the battery via ape rr for charging and the headlight (AC) from the coil directly before connecting to ape rr.?
any help will be appreciated.!! thanks

hey, i did open up my digital console last to last night. because i didn't have a small solder iron i couldn't desolder the LCD however i have a question. When i opened the upper skin where everything is written and all, i noticed there was orange film below it and it's not possible to remove it also, how did you manage to get the blue colour on the tacho then? i'm getting purple...

oh i scribbled out that 'R'...

    Thanks mate for the reply,

Yeah the silence screws are tight. I'm not too sure about the tappets, I'll go get them checked out.

I don't ride much these days (Daily trips of <15 km) and haven't found that sound again (occurs only when engine heats up nicely).

    Thanks for the advice.

    Hey Rahul,

I'm having two issues with my bike,
    1. Once the engine/gearbox has heated up and run for a few kilometers there's an odd noise coming from the engine/gearbox, kinda like a small metal piece is inside and rolling about/getting tossed about inside the engine or the gearbox. The sound seems to be produced only during idling.
    2. Whenever I hit the kill switch (8 out of 10 times, I actually counted it) the engine doesn't go off silently but there seems to be a loud click/clap/tthak sound kinda like a hammer slapping on plastic just as it dies. The other 2 out of 10 times it goes off silently.

I was going through the ownership thread and found you had a similar problem (similar to problem 1 of mine). Could you let me know what you did to resolve that issue?

    Thanks mate,

Actually that will be simple as nothing. i was thinking of doing something to the conventional chargers to add it on rather make a standalone circuit board for plug and play. had some questions regarding hid as well. If i put hid on both upper and lower beam, will my pass light become ineffective?
