The first time the SVC said me to change the cylinder and piston were when I rode it for 15000kms and then again now at 27000kms…the problem I use to ride my bike 100kms daily and that too on 100+kmph…and used to try for reaching the top speed which was 127kmph…and I was using the Yama lube mineral oil…it was changed after every arund 2500kms…I haven’t changed my cylinder and piston for second time, as I am not riding it…and thinking of first changing it from the SVC with the stock Pistons and cylinders under warranty…and then in May end with JOEL’s Big Bore Kit…I don’t want to increase top speed but I want to ride it 100+kmph without facing any problems….And secondly what about the Big Front Sproket…frankly I don’t understand it….can you please explain….

HI Ranjith... wanted to ask you about the JOEL's upgradation of FZ16 to FZ18...on current stock my top speed is 127kmph...but the main problem is after riding it continously 100+ my Cylinder piston kit have been changed once and again the SVC is asking me to change it...my bike is still in Warranty period..i want to upgrade my bike after the bike completes the Warranty period..can you tell me the exact top speed after upgradation...I am opting for BIG BORE KIT, FFE & RACING CARB..is there any other upgradation i need to do...like Air filter etc...kindly let me knw...i wont be riding my bike much now coz of my job..mostly on weekends and that too not more than 300kms.......waiting for ur help.....

Hi Ranjith, I badly need your help for my Fz16 too. I am planning to change my stock head light and also the stock horn. Please suggest me which one to go. Please tell its pricing and also the work involved. (For your kind information my battery lost it charge few months back and now its back to normal and I do have a pair of Osram night breaker plus 75/80 with me, so can I use one of these bulbs?)

I like the matte finish on your FZ. Where did you do it ? and how much did it cost? The sticker job is neatly done. Was the sticker removed and placed after the paint job or was it kept covered?
