Hi Ketan....Thanks for your inputs, I am just playing a waiting game myself to ensure these issues that I mentioned are not a big factor. Also I wanted to test ride the bike, the yamaha guys gave me a FZ 16 instead to test ride . So would like to ride the bike myself to get a feel for myself. But with so many people swearing on the performance I am not all that concerned with that.

Thanks again Ketan will get back to you once I get my bike

Thanks a ton mate. How are you finding your R-15 but just a bit sceptical on the issues I'm finding in the threads, what do you think? Is it a real deterent or is it something that you can overlook. Few things which really tops my chart are rusting of the body parts, headlights and lack of good service. could you gimme your inputs.

For me...my R15 is like a dream come true..Even though I'll be the first person to book a CBR600 when launched in India I love my R15..

From my end, there r absolutely no probs at all.

To talk about ur list toppers..

Bosy rudting.. You see, the rusting is just superficial.. Nothing that deep. So it doesn't have any effect on the chasis or any part of the bike. That too if one takes care of his babe properly there'll b least amount of rust. That's with me..There's very little rust there and it's not even increasing.

About headlights.. Just stick to the stock ones and align them properly as per ur level of comfort n they r great. I hav no issues with headlights while riding at night, ask my friends at what speeds I cruise at night[]

Well people r shouting out there about the lack of good service but then it depends on u how much u r friendlier with ur mech.. B good to them n they'll b good to u.. I hav no major issues with servicing. With normal servicing I m able to touch a top whack of 139km/hr recently with bike still accelerating.

    Rest is upto u dude...

Hey no prob at all... anytime..so what help u want regarding the avatar? u want to know the procedure or there isn't any option to add an avtar in ur profile?

Well if u want the procedure, here it goes...

    1) once u have logged in, click on the "quick links" button which u see on the right side of the page just below where u get the notification for private messages.

    2) once clicked u'll get a drop down menu. Click on "use control panel" button in it.

    3) U'll then be taken to a page where u'll find lots of option on the left side one below the other.

    4) click on "Edit Avtar" button.

    5) once u click u'll b taken ona page where u can add ur avtar the same way we do on other sites like orkut, facebook.

    I think this helps u..
If u need any other help feel free to approach.

    Regards,
    Ketan_r15
