Pulsar is likely to come with a single cylinder 250cc with 4 valves by the 3rd quarter of 2011 at 1.2L.It is a totally new design engine with 25 Bhp

let's see what this new generation diesel is all about, im sure it's got decent fuel efficiency. the p250, well i hope it's a twin 250 costing 1.3 lakhs, what's the point of making a new engine again with just a single cylinder. but i agree with the 4 valves, if they introduce it ill get it fixed on my bike too!!

The diesel bike is a failure,and is timed wrongly.Every biker is looking up to performance with milage combination and importantly STYLE.
The Pulsar may be a single cylinder 250 with 4 valves ..priced around 90K...I think their entire Pulsar range will shift to 4 Valves design.

Guess what, hero is in talks with some company from chennai, they're planning to manufacture a 400cc diesel bike!!! ....I hope this 250 pulsar you were talkin about is a twin cylinder..or it's going to vibrate like an apache
