Agree on the fact about oil given by company.
After talking to you, i will stick with a mineral oil for now. Will go to karol bagh PBK as its nearer to me, if you think okhla one is better i can travel that extra distance if needed.
If the mineral oil goes bad within a 1000 kms or so, i will change to Motul, if not will stick with it, why waste money, a student already has less of that

About hard run in, its a replica of motoman's run in. Gave short bursts from Day 1 itself. Pushing bike to 6-7K RPM and then leaving the throttle using engine braking, hit a top speed of 135 on Day 2. After 8-10 kms, allowed engine to cool down.
Dont know what will happen in LT, at present am happy. The bike is giving a good avg of 40+ even under constant ripping.

I dont think the mineral oil pbk give will last even 1000 kms for me. After delivery, i followed hard run in, ripping the bike nicely and after 300 kms shifting from 3rd to 4th became impossible. Changed to Castrol and its fine now.
Dont want the gearshifts to become hard, hate it a lot. The Valvoline they may give will not last much under hard run.

BTW, for second service at 2500 kms, its written in manual not to change oil. Just top up if necessary. And i dont get such oil changes done at PBK, give 10 rs to my mechanic and he does the job

Went through your thread on Motul distributors. I reside in Dwarka and wanted to have Motul 5100 for my 220 asap it completes 1000 kms. Rahul provided one address of Dwarka guy but yet to see if he delivers the oil to my home.

Which distributor gives home delivery to your home?

Well i went to Karol bagh today and bought a WLT (DOT approved) helmet for 2600 and Alpinestar SMX gloves for 1650. Am a brand conscious guy , he showed me Probiker gloves too for 700 but when i saw Alpinestar's there was no looking back. Awesome gloves.
