I just made few changes to my plan, we are starting on 9th Dec instead of 5th. Even the plan for reversed, we are heading to Pune first from there we want come down along the West Coast. I have prepared a trip plan based on the plan given to you by MG. Let me whether I can drop any places or to add
Day 1: Hyderabad-Zaheerabad-Sholapur-Pune
Day 2:Pune-Nasrapur-Bhor--Mahad-Poladpur-Mahabaleshwar-Panchagani-Satra
Day3:Satara(windmil farms)-Karad-Koyna-Chiplun-Ganapatipule
Day4:Ganpatipule-Ratnagiri--Vijaydurg-Devgarh-Malvan(Sindudurh Fort)-Tarkali(Beach)
Day5:Tarkali-Sawantvadi-Amboli-Sawantvadi-Margoa-Colva
Day6:Colva –Karwar – Ankola – Kumta – Honnavar – Murdeshwar - Maravanthe – Murdeshwar –

Honnavar – Mavingundi – Jog Falls-Sagar
Day7:Sagar-Harapanhalli-Hospet-Gangawati-Raichur-Hyderabad

Lost interst about posting anything on these forums man , Its useless , I make a trip every weekend and keep it to myself .
So no trip logs , Pics on Fb or orkut . MH is awesome . Lovely roads and good decent places , but no greenery like Kar or Kerala. Just brownery.

As from jog falls even iam planning to pune via west coast(NH17) covering all the best places

to go some distance on NH13 & take a immediate right cross Harapanhalli.Perfect , this is the super route to harihar with good roads. from there you can continue to jog without going to shimoga or sagar.

Till Hampi I dont have any prob, as i was there in that Hampi trip along with bro. The main worry from Hospet whether to go on NH 63 upto Bellary and take a left or to go some distance on NH13 & take a immediate right afrter Tungabhadra Dam & croos NH$ via Harapanhalli.

u ll need to stay in sagar for accomodation .

Hmm , Hyd to Hampi , KP can suggest you the route. he went last time i think.

from Hampi -harihar . from there its through SH and small towns.Google maps gives the names of the places .
From Hampi to harihar there is a direct route , dont go on the NH 13. the road has got craters man.
