Too much traffic. It will take you atleast an hour to hit hosur road. From then on you can do speeds of 80 to 100 i guess. The elevated expressway is 9.5 kms only so it doesn't solve all your problems with bangalore traffic. I would suggest you ask bangaloreans for their views. And it doesn't matter if you cover more distance right the objective is to finish 1610 kms. You will face truck traffic (one truck travleeing at 30 and another overtaking at 31 ) again from kancheepuram till chennai. So plan on turning around before Kancheepuram.
