You are right.. I have toured quite extensively on my bike. In fact, I have had little or no commutes and 80% of the riding has been done on the Highways. I have never faced a breakdown / failure till date in almost 2 years of use in the most strenuous conditions. Most of the info you will need on engine oils, troubleshooting and other stuff can be found in the links in my signature. Not much I can add to that...

In my case they say it's OTR is 1.03Lacs.
