I use the SS1 for pottering around town and also for touring off highways where the shade of the peak is welcome. The helmet is stable even on the Ninja as speeds in excess of 160kmph. Being in Mumbai, it makes sense to buy from the reseller there - A H Helmets, who will be signing up on Friday, I think. His cost will be lower than us couriering the helmet to you because of the freight cost. However, you MIGHT save the octroi and tax but risk not getting the right fit. Catch 22, I'd say!

    Hey Satya,
Have been without a bike since more than two years. Am desperately in need for a bike (both for daily office use as well for enjoyment purpose) but have been stopped because of the nice proposition that BAJAJ have given to us.
So you can guess the eagerness, and the desperation to get hand on any info available.
BTW, u have not said clearly whether ur info abt bike's production is valid.

Thanx for the help,Bhau.. You rock! \m/

Btw, spoke to 2 other One-Five v2 riders.
They dont feel not changing oil+filter before 1k kms would be deemed a cardinal sin. They dint do it. And are having no problem at all. What's your honest opinion about it?

"The Khrrrr sound could be from
    chain. Lube it well,"
    Can do this.
    " and adjust its
slack." Will have to google this.

    "If the sound remains, Get
the front sprocket off and flip it
and put it the other way around."
I haven't dont anything alike ever. But well, there's always a first.

"The brake sound is because of
    dirt on the pad..."
Its there on the new bikes at the dealers. Rascals are delivering them uncleaned.
    "bleed the lines
or clean it with soap water and
then water (DO NOT USE ANY
    OIL ON THE DISC)"
Bleed the line?? No,no.. I cant do this.. Too heavy duty for me!
