    acha.. Didn't know that but it makes sense.. If that's the case then i'm sure they'll come around and get ISI certifications..

    Yes I meant it that way only...
    Did you know one can obtain ISI certification as an Importer as well? So whats stopping this big arse importers from obtaining a certification! They are just interested in the money nothing else!
    Just like auto manufacturer are now realising that India is THE biggest market in the world for Two wheelers, even the riding gears manufacturers have to take notice and opt for certification. Heck! ISI is still behind on terms and I dont see why any of the modern products would fail certifications!

    I think you didn't understand what i meant or maybe it was the other way round.. Either way..

    The archaic thinking was directed towards us Indians as a whole but more specifically (of course) towards the laws/lawmakers.. In a way we are the lawmakers so its 'our archaic thinking' i was referring to.. Is that what you interpreted out of it?
