Not yet dude, planning for Michelin rubber for my older bike though. Will change it after this touring season I think-wearing it out as much as possible, lol! Anyway, I made the ride to Bangalore on last Sunday-I'm here till next Sunday.

No night riding, early morning should get one there by late afternoon/early evening. Almost complete stretch is 4 laned now to Bangy, people are doing it in 9-10 hours with 1-2 short breaks. Pune route is still single lane though.

Nope, no touring lately-planning to ride solo to Bangy/Pune once the service is done.

Its been 6 months. Yeah, I also use my Vega high end for touring only. If you are looking at flip-ups, Ninja 2G/3G and Boolean are good. I prefer Studds for the broad shell&comfy padding. If not, Studds has launched some new lids too-check www.thehelmetshoppe.com Rhyno is a good option also in full face.

R15 still buddy-keep having a look at the Ninja everytime I go to Bangy/Pune, but can't afford it-expenses are tough to manage after marriage. R15 is due for its 2 year end service-radiator(free by company), coolant, both brake fluids, engine oil&rear brake pads (worn to the hilt) need to be replaced. Polishing etc.will bring the bill upto Rs.2500, so I've been postponing it!
Ninja 2G is holding up pretty well.
