Oh, ok.. 2000kms seems pretty less though for a synthetic oil.. almost same drain period as mineral oil..
Anyway, i want to try out petronas once so going to buy it tomorrow, (hope i find it)

No, no I'm not judging by the color. I felt a difference in smoothness. While I had put the oil in new, and the ride from the garage to home... oh I even now wish the ride didnt end. It was so smooth that I didt't feel like getting off the bike. Then slowly because of the smoothness you dont realize the speed you are at. Gears were super smooth. But now gears are becoming hard. I feel a bit of roughness in the engine too. I know that Fully Synth lasts really long. But I dont think Petronas lasts very long. I think thats justified for the low price.

    Ok, thanks for the info..
If the oil is black it doesn't mean it has to be changed.
I think other members said the oil can be used for 5000-6000kms.
motul FS is around 800 and can be used for 9000-10,000kms.
Are you feeling any lack of smoothness of late ? thats a better indication that oil needs change.

I've covered about 1800 Kms after changing to Petronas Fully Synth. The oil is already black and ready for change. I dont think it will last longer than 2000kms. The less price of the oil is covered by the company by less longevity i guess. But the oil is surely very smooth. It totally moved the riding pleasure one notch up.

    Hey buddy,
How many kms have you covered till now after switching to petronas ?
How is the overall experience with the oil (and whats the colour of oil when looking through the window).
I need to change my oil within 1 week so i'm trying to finalize between petronas and shell SS.
