no idea. Usually they wont understand. Only some experienced mechanics (not necessarily yamaha) might..

ya dude.. tappet is just an 'in-between' of camshaft and cylinder valve. It has to be set to required clearance. You can find the details in the service manual. JD666 has uploaded it, its there in his signature too.
