The thing you mentioned is normal. Don't worry. Even mind rolls with complete throttle closed and hands only on clutch. Once bike starts rolling, i don't even need the clutch. It's normal. Our engines have tremendous torque out of which only a part is used at the low end so that it can be used at the top does. And with improper tuning we lose out even more torque. Now your bike is tuned ok.

Ride for sometime now. I hope carb draining will not be required. Observe a week or so. And why didnt you ask the pbk guys to drain the carb?

Firstly, get the right size of screw driver that does not get stuck in the drain screw gap but fits the screw perfectly. The longer the screw driver the easier and better. Hold onto the carb from behind with your left hand and turn the screw anti-clockwise with your right hand. If you do not hold onto the carb and try to push the carb in an attempt to open the drain screw, then the carb moves from its manifold creating more issues like air leaks. The right sized long screw driver is the trick to opening the drain screw without any problems. Hope this helps.

Well i can't do it myself. I got it done from pbk workshop when i last visited there. Sometimes during rain water gets inside the carb. Many a times even foul petrol is responsible for this. This leads to jerking. Choked airfilter and unlubricated chain also forms a part. So first make sure all other variances are checked. Then get a carb drain asap. Guess it will be gone. Mine went of with a proper tuning only. Mine was a bit lean tuned earlier. Never knew though. Now it's normal. Getting around 40 now.

Also try draining the carb once. For me, the jerks went off completely. The only problem i still face is sometimes the bike feels butter smooth and sometimes quite harsh. Other than that the manufacturing problems but i'm just getting used to them now.

Sorry buddy. Forgot. Anyways, since your bike is old enough and you're getting those jerks, i assume you're getting sky high mileage figures like i used to like around 45 right? The tuning is not right. Re-tune your carb. For me, mine is complete 2.5 turns on the fuel screw and cold idle rpm is 900, rises to 1000 rpm then i start riding, and after a while it comes to around 1100-1200 rpm. And since you're running on the same engine oil as mine, i believe it's the tuning. For me it was the tuning.

Well then you can take it to PBK and get it sorted. Does the problem occur even when the engine is warm? My bike does jerk but not so much as it did before. You might even try getting your carb cleaned.
