Thanks MG for your reply. Myself just came home after completing my tour, there were many changes done apart from the plan. we dropped many places in day 6 & day 2.
This is how it went on
Day1:Hyderabad-Zaheerabad-Sholapur-Pune
Day2::Pune-Panchagan-Mahabaleshwar
Day 3:Mahabaleshwar-Pratapgadh-Poladpur-Chiplun-Ratnagiri
Day4:Ratnagiri-Ganapatipule-Ratnagiri-Vijaydurg-Tarkarli(Beach)
Day 5:Trakali boat ride-snorkling(complete day at Trakali)
Day6:Tarkali-Karwar-Jog Falls-Harihara
Day7:Harihara-Hyderabad

Iam planning trip from 9th dec. The plan is from hyd to pune & then go down covering western ghats & coast line. This has been taken from the plan given by you to santosh.

Could you let me know which places to be concentrated more & places to stay over night.
