    If you ask me, you needn't worry about the grade - Jeeva will guide you - merely choose your preferred brand. Everyone has their own preference and you through experimentation will discover yours too. Mineral oil is suggested as the lube of choice in bikes during their run in period and you can switch to semi-synth after second service. Full synth is normally recommended if you're going to be thrashing your bike on the track - otherwise semisynth is more than enough.

    To be honest, I don't remember the grade - its mentioned in the manual. I know that my bike came with Castrol brand and in the first service, Jeeva (the PBK mechanic who will handle your bike) put in Castrol again. I know because I always wait and watch the entire service. the bike was perfectly smooth and at about 4K I changed my oil and filter in a "mini-service". Not required but I was doing a few long rides and wanted a clean and smooth revving engine. In this unscheduled interim service, Jeeva poured in Bajaj lube, which he said was also authorised. However, I and a few others who used it felt the engine was harsher with this oil, so I changed back to Castrol again during the 2nd service at 6K. The bike immediately felt smoother.

    Dude, You asked me to stick with mineral oil till runin. Does our kwackers comes with mineral oil or semi synth or fully synth from the factory? Which mineral oil should be used in 1st service. The suggested oils from xbhpians 300V Motul 300V 4T 15W50 & Castrol Activ Xtra 20W50 are FULLY SYNTH ones... I need the full name of the mineral oil to change it in 1st service.

    i've only completed 5300kms. next service due at 6k. i think the charges will be a little more. Service intervals are every 5-6k I think but frankly I do a mini service in between. I did an oil + filter change at 3k, with top up of all juices and lube of all main components. air filter clean every 1k kms and chain lube every 500kms - but thats just me. I like my bike in the pink of health.

    2. Whats the interval between every service? I heard from some guys its every 5000 kms. Is it so?

    5. i dont ride in traffic but bike is very manouverable
    6. I don't think so - more relaxed than R15
    7. I use regular premium unleaded like speed/power/xtrapremium. some guys swear by only Shell premium while others like praveen use whatever petrol is available.

    1. Whats the average ur getting in the city as well as highway?

    2. R u taking ur bike only on weekends or riding daily or ride twice in a week?

    3. If ur say is only on weekends, Do you start your bike & keep it in idle for 5 minutes & switch it off for maintenance during weekdays?

    4. How much PBK guys charge for every factory recommended service?

    5. How abt the flick-ability in chennai traffic?

    6. Does ninja got same seating position same as in R15? I mean should v have to lean as we do in R15?

    7. Whats the fuel that ninja drinks?

    Wud be grateful for ur answers.
