I'm not sure about the FZ since I haven't taken any proper ride but you may be right since its a carbed one.

No question about its abilities in track but for every other usage it lacks the punch.Also its not the smoothest as touted.Unicorn followed by Kari is still best in this business though I have a feeling that FZ will be very smooth minus any punch(Had a very small ride).

No its not about the height.I have no problems with seating position and all.The engine performance is so flat and there is no punch at all.You don't get any kick even after 8k r.p.m.RTR is also a similar character bike but its a fun tool and you get a lot of kick at higher revs.
