no worries buddy, i have completed 2 years of engg. too, now im leaving it and going for tourism management to canada. I hope you figure out a solution soon. I'll stay in touch. are you in mumbai? Whenever you do go for a bike, id suggest you also consider a used Comet, it's one of the best if you can get one in good condition. Good luck!

man,the tyre issue is just by a chance....i consulted many people an they told me it was my bad luck that i faced those punctures...in my group of friends we have 4 red r15s and one p220.

i was going through the other comments on ur profile about r15 bein small blah bla.....well im 6'2 in height and well built.....and bileve me....no one thinks the bikes TOO small.....all bull crap....

thing to see was the ride presence was awesome...people would actually ask you about the price, miealge, everyone would notice the bike.....even some people went to the extent of asking from where i got it imported...lol.....

p220 is excellent VFM....i rode p220 for a distance of 160 kms in a stretch......it was awesome,no doubt......riding position isnt sporty, more comfortable....lights are awesome....but yea we all know abou the quality of the bajaj products, the kind of servicing etc etc.....

Go for r15 if u can afford it...else p220 is a great buy!

It cost me around 1,04,500 on road with smart card. Both of the lights turn on when i switch to high beam and only the left for the low beam.
