    Congrats bro,

I know it will be difficult to be away from your bike and sit infront of your PC, but pls pen down your thoughts/experiences for us guys, who are dangling between CBR250 and Duke390.

Wishing you many miles and smiles

All the best with the beast.

Your bike delivery brings hope to many of us who are eagerly waiting for delivery, waiting for answers of the questions asked already here. And some nice pictures will help a lot to us poor souls.

Cbr 250? Bro no offense but it's not even in the same league by a very long shot. I sold it to buy the 390. Lesser weight, greater power, 10 times better tyres and abs at a very very VFM price point. And not to mention much higher standard engine construction. A 4.5L rupees European exotic at an Indian price...

You'd be surprised by the quality of the cbr and not in a good way at all like me and my cbr group realised the hard way.

I heard tire replacement costs 25K on the D390, if you go for Metzeler, not sure how long they will last in Indian conditions, especially since they are soft compound tires. Also D200 owners can change to Metzeler tires too but the cost would be prohibitive I guess. Somebody gotta try the tires of D200 on D390, might come useful when we have to replace tires.

in the other thread it was said by somebody that the Metzeler tyres would cost 11k for bajaj.. and not 25k as thought..
11k is not that much when the product gives so much confidence while driving..

    Ride safe and have fun.

Yea. I guess xbhp id chinmayakar said the same. 11k is reasonable for those sticky rubbers

If they retails for 11k, a lot of D200 owners will change to Metzeler tires. Good news for us bikers, and I'm glad Bajaj is providing very VFM products.

That rumour does not seem to be true. I called the service center at Lower Parel, and they are only offering MRF tires. No Metzeler.
