Sounds doable. Thanks sir. I'll visit often to get the chain cleaned and I'll drink tea with them. I refused the last time they asked. lol. Points noted.

pick up something from aliexpress.. you would get cheap now.. but waiting will be about 1-2 months.. else you can get your money refunded back.. no issues there..

they are reliable.. just that it's slow..

for the service center rappo, well, I see their faces once every 6 months, but I do tip them, but had bad experiences, hence I don't tip anymore.. I used to go to the Begumpet, then switched over to Sainikpuri, the Sainikpuri guy is very good & I have a very good rappo with him. I tip him a bit.. no issues there & everything is fine.. Begumpet newly launched their svc.. went there & it's pretty good now..

they remember the "nice" customers & the "bad" customers.. you don't "absolutely" need to go there for chain cleaning etc etc. just be nice to them, understand their problems & try to accommodate.. tip them when they did a great job.. you're good to go.. even if you come once in 6 months, you're a "priority" customer

I'm getting this error code when starting up the bike. It's been this way since months now but i keep forgetting to visit the svc since the bike starts without any problems every single time at the first try. Can anyone help me what this error means?

Reseat your battery terminals and see.

There are so many different iterations of this code that it's very hard to pinpoint what's wrong. But, one thing that usually corroborates with such error codes is that either the battery is not providing enough juice to the electronics and or the battery isn't getting charged up in the first place. JG_ and JY_ and what not with different numbers followed by periods are in my opinion are the ECU of letting us know of a low voltage in some aspect. My suggestion would be to check if the battery terminals are seated well, that's one. If the battery is weak try charging them independently. Secondarily also check if your battery is getting charged up, using a multimeter on the terminals the voltage at engine spinning at 5k should be around 15 volts. If you see it less than 14v you have a charging coil problem, which isn't providing enough juice to your battery.

Though take this advice of mine with a pinch of salt

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    Thanks a lot.
Checked and reseated the terminals at home but it's still the same, looks like i will have to visit the svc to check rest of the things.
If problem is not the battery it should be covered in warranty right? Been ~1.5 years since i got the bike.

If your fall under the warranty period yes, you can. Since KTMs offer 2 years or 30k KM warranty, if you fall in the respective category, then you sure can opt for warranty. Also, make sure if it's applicable for the battery. Usually sometimes the battery warranty falls for one year or what not. Try pushing the warranty way and keep us posted, in case if there is a requirement of a replacement of battery or stator.

    Cheers!

Will visit the svc sometime next week, the battery warranty is expired as my bike has done ~1.5years and 12k km but if any other problem i'll get it done under warranty.

According to the svc, the battery is completely dead and needs replacement. My question is if the battery is dead how is it that the bike starts at one go without any problems whatsoever? And what is the price of a new battery? (They quoted Rs.2300 for a new one.)
