Are 2017 D390s facing similar vibration issue? because both bikes have same chassis.

Not sure, but it must be around 1.25 - 1.35 now. Will have to confirm from the showroom.

Got to ride around a bit, I have been babying around the engine all week, and it helps!. I finally got to know that smoothness that the reviews were talking about. Apart from a vibe at exactly 4k RPM, Every where else in the rev range the bike is smooth.

Coming from the old 390 and having just booked the new one, I'd say the 250 is a very very nice bike. Rode my friends 250 yesterdays and as everybody says, there are vibes at the footpegs but just wear thick soled shoes to get rid of them.

Bike feels much calmer and relaxed than the older twins.

i dont understand vibration complaints on ktm and bajaj threads. I am an R15 rider and not trying to defend these bikes.

it feels like people are a bit too sensetive to vibrations. mere presence of vibrations should not be a problem. if they are excessive like on old gen apache over 80 or royal enfield himalyan over 90 kmph, then that is a problem.

i extensively rode bajaj dominar, 200 ns, old duke 390. never felt vibes to be a problem. they were present if i concentrated to find out. but never intrusive.

I had Apache, i dint find vibration to be an issue but on the D250 i don't know why i am noticing it every time i ride, may be because it kicks in just at 4k rpm. I would appreciate if you take an ride of D250 and let us know.

It's not a problem. Just nitpicking here. Everything would be seamless if that 4k was smooth. Unfortunately, it is at 4k, and you hit 4k often. Before that rpm, it's perfect, after that rpm it's perfect. I've only managed to do about 250kms till date. Maybe someone one who has ridden this bike a lot more will be able to shed some light on this.
