well to start with my Flames review - still photo session is yet to take place

So starting with some intro about Flame

Flame : 125cc engine with 10.5bhp power in it came to market with lot of controversies and now running in its last steep - but successfully

Look at the pis

It feels like riding a bigger cc bike - lokk at the following pic

Flame is available in the following colors
1 - Red
2 - Silver
3 - Yellow
4 - Black
5 - Orange
6 - Blue

Wait for a review and a First time view of Black Flame

OK,

So here comes the Review
Though i beleive im the only owner of Flame in XBHP
This thread still stays as an Single User Thread

Ok Here we comes to the topic
Atlast i managed to click some pics - from my friends Mobile cam
The quality is somehow OK - just managed it

And @mods - I've given the Water Marks - though not so bright - it is visible

Looks :

I dont need to explain the looks part - One of the best 125cc bikes manufactured by Indian manufacturers

Delta Edge Styling :
The delta edge styling of the Jet planes - are intimated in flame
The tank - the bikini fairing - the silencer pipe - has this intimation

COntroversies :
Flame would have been a biggest HIT unless the Spark Plug controversy with bajaj wouldnt have been there

The only one Spark Plug - that made the whole production Dumb - and still this affects the name of flame

Here comes the pics with some discriptions

Well the Black Flame is the new addition to the Flame

The stickering just resembles the Stunners - and yes - it looks really different
and a good head turner

The red stripes in the Alloys - are not not STOCK

The front view - just looks like a modified ZMA - without the front fairing
The Head light does its jobs - Pilot lights are differently placed - but does good

The Tail reagion is also good - the same as that of RTR's but lack of LED's
THey said it as a Dual LED Light
But the fact is there is only one LED - but the console is been modeled to show it as Dual LED
The grab Rail is the good - part - the RTR's grab rails are joined here

The Digi console is the simplest of all - not as simple as that of XCD
The bright Orange light at the back
The console has
1 - CLock
2 - Trip meter
3 - ODO
4 - IMI
5 - Fuel Level Indicator
6 - Service Time indicator
7 - Neutral Indicator
8 - Turn signal INdicator
9 - Low Fuel indicator
10 - Speedo in Analog( Look at the RED margins for an 125cc )

The disc does its Job - and bites effectively - the tyres are 90 - specially for DISC Version

The Unique silencer - first time for Indian Bikes it looks like the same of an Hayabusa - but it sounds effectively and sometimes the Grunt varies between that of RTR and that of Star - cannot predict

The really helping part in Flame
The desighner Tank has a good space to hold the goods in it.
It can hold three coke tins or many small items
I used to store my Cooling glasses in it and the Books
Though it has meinimized the Tank size to that of 8 litres - it didnt affect anyone
The lock for this box is been integrated in the Bike Lock

Here comes the review

1 - The Seating position is so straight and brisk - the seats are so - soft and doesnt pains your back
2 - The handle bar is so big - and effective handling is also good
3 - The tyres Grip is good - same as like that of RTR
4 - THe head light is good - and helpfull in dark nights
5 - The Pilot lights are bright enough and battery operated - switch the Ignition key and the light glows
6 - The horn is like that something Bad - and i changed it to that of the Air horns
7 - Turn lights are really good - and that one integrated with the Tank - really turns heads to the Turn lights
8 - The alloys are good - nothing to say about it
9 - The engine sounds good and something smoooooooth
It sounds the same in all gears - i havent crossed more than 70 in her - and in all speeds the sound is smooother - and good
Mileage : It gives about 55 - 60 KMPL in Traffic conditions and in High ways it gives about 70 or near by it

Well I belive this is enough to desribe to Flame - and - yes i would like to see some flame owners in this forum

This is the first time the Black Flame is been coming to INTERNET

Nice review accompanied by pictures. It does seem that you are the only owner of the Flame, here in xBhp atleast, which is something to be proud of you see, since exclusivity is not easy to come by..

P.S: What is the IMI thingy you mentioned in the digital console?

Well thanks for it

IMI refers to Instant Mileage Indicator

It shows u a prediction of how much mileage ur bike will return - in the speed that your driving -
for eg
1 - go at 40 - it shows 102KMPL
2 - go at 50 - it shows 85KMPL
3 - go at 60 - it shows 60KMPL
Its all predictions - but it depends upon the RPM

Yes Flame is a different kind of bike
Many questioned me where is the speedo cable to the Front Wheel

The answer is that - yes it is been connected to the rear end of the tyre

I also questioned the same thing to the TVS mechanics they said
The Front speedo cables often get damaged in Bikes - due to the fact it will subjected to movement - so the Connections are done - to the rear end of Flame's wheel - but i donno why this same tech - is not implemented in other products of TVS

It is suitable for those who does Wheelies - can check thier Speed

There is no Fuel Tap been provided

The reason is that Flame works in vaccum technology -
If an Fuel Tap is been provided- and if the tap is not been closed when the bike is not in use - this will affect the engines performance
So the fact no TAP is been provided
When you switch ON the Ignition key - you can here a sound - from the tank - it is where the fuel knob opens and fuel passes to the Carb

But this technology - doesnt proved good - this is the main reason for the cold start problems of Flame
