Default Hero Honda Splendor

This post is for every person who had a hero honda splendor in his life.

If we see the last 10 years every year one new bike and a young and new generation is added in the two wheeler population which is evergrowing.. If we look back the days of RX100, suzuki Shogun, Hero hoda cd100 and splendor and enfiled bullet 350 cc was considered as kings of those days.

I had my share of experiences with a shogun the fire, powerful and rash bike and then moved to a hero honda splendor which is humble, silent bike which has lived upto the expectations of more than it expected, years have gone by but still it performs as it was on the first day, though in today competition of big bikes and big engines it may not be that powerful or speeding, it may be a bit slower but in the long span i spent with her i feel its a long lasting humble friend always ready for you the harder you push it, the cool attitude it keeps you and her going, it manages off roading a bit, but due to weak shocks provided by hero honda it cant last long on it, i had my both gud and bad experiences in ti, let it be driving from pune to matheran, pune to panchgini, pune to goa, or delhi to jaisalmer, and last but not the least delhi to leh.. she was like a faithful friend where there is no help but pitch black dark highways, it was just her engine sound that kept my heart beating that i am alive.

Yes there is a problem with the seat and shocks and a bit of less power, but its a sturdy bike meant for long life.

Very nice thought. Have felt the same when riding solo on mountains.

Till a few years back i was a typical pulsar150 lover/HH Hater but then i used a splendour for a few days and came away full of respect for it.

Yes splendor is a very good and reliable bike. I rode my friends splendor for a year and was extremely satisfied with it. This is one motorcycle that is built to last. Even today for daily commute it is one of the best available, one that has been through the test of time.
