Royal enfield - electra 5s ( '08 model)
Hi all,
i am a happy owner of bullet electra 5s. i bought her home on sept 08. in 10+ months i have clocked 20+ k kms. imagine.!!! and i did the riders mecca trip - delhi-manali-leh-srinagar-delhi ( circuit trip - 3000 kms ) recently. well coming to my bike.. its silver electra. with left gear shift and right brake. initially i had trouble getting used to the height / milage..he he / weight / handling in bengaluru traffic.. etc..but now it seems like i have tamed her a bit. i have done above 125kmph and getting milage of around 27 avg ( my speed is alwys above 80..hence.. ) i never regret my decisions in life. so this one is one of the best decisions i have done i guess. planning to do a all india tour..provided my wife gives permission. sometimes i feel that my wife jelous of my bike as i show soo mch affection to wards my bike..lolz.. best part is ..she too is learning to drive the beast.. all said and done. one thing is assured.. she can never tame my beast..  will update this thread ltr.. happy riding chandan |
