Deccan Quartermile Drag - January 17 & 18th 2009
I am delighted to announce that the APMSC in conjunction with FMSCI will host the Deccan Quartermile Drag at GMR facilities in Shamshabad, Hyderabad on the weekend of January 17th and 18th.
The rules and regulations are now up on the following website Andhra Pradesh Motor Sports Club Wishing the best of luck to all of the participants, I will be participating too, but in a 4wheeler. Cheers Shrey |

If some of you guys haven't read the regulations, then let me iform all of you!
There is a special class in this event call "Showroom Stock". In the showroom stock class you CANNOT modify your car/bike hence it all boils down to the driver/rider skills. Since the bikes would be indentical, hence the rider with the fastest RT(reaction time) best launch will have the edge. @hyd: bro why dont you participate in this class? Cheers Shrey |

Nice initiative...
drag speacialist from xBhp Hyderabad what do you guys say ?? Shrey >> what all does stock indicate ? will tire and engine oil come under this scanner as well- these are the two things different on my 220 compared to stock. EDIT : just went through the regulations.. quite compicated. but engine oil and tire does not come under scanner (there is actually no mention about what exactly is stock) But where to get the race insurance done ? And i think 220 will fit in 160-250 cc class ...isn't it unfair for other bikes ?? Last edited by caravikiran; 12-25-2008 at 08:58 PM. |
