are there just the three of us in the entire xbhp membership who follow WSBK???? damn.. guess people are missing out on a lot of action..

hey suren... do you remember foggys last corner move on colin edwards ... eehhhh! ten years back i suppose... i forgot what track that was.. but foggy was .7 adrift with chilli tailgating.. untill the last bend.. where foggy gets that extra drive out of his ducati and beast edwards on the line... actually this was the race where they declared edwards the winner... but foggy only knew when he came into the park Furme...

this was much better than that.... in a long time...

Yeah the move that Elbows made on Haslam, had me screaming. Hard but fair.

I guess a part of the problem lies with Zee sports. They never advertise the sport and secondly the channel is only available with Dish TV, Airtel and cable.

Dont quite know how he dropped it. Took the lead on lap one, the channel took an ad break and it returned with a shot of Elbows in the gravel.

Has anyone of you followed the 2002 WSBK season? Bayliss won most of the races in the first half and Edwards wining most races in the second half of the season. I think its the best season WSBK has had till date.

Youtube has a WSBK channel by the name of WSBArchives, has highlights of all from 1992 season, a must see for a WSBK fan.

Cheers

Ha! yes i did.. that was indeed awesome... but but but.... do you remember the time Ben Bostrom (2001)was on a ducati and he just did the same thing that edwards did but got beaten in the end (troy of course)... i think that was the best season... oh and for some of the best races... remember one Mr. Anthony Gobert... hang on let me try finding the vids..

ant gobert strips on podium...

Ben Bostrom

gobert in austraila...

this is why i loved watching SBK...

star sports used to show the SBK magzine on mondays a special 1 hour show showing highlights of both races..the super sidecar, superstock etc. and steve martin used to take the stock bikes of all the manufacture and test it tru out the season... in the end he would decided the winner... oh i still remember when the new suzuki GSXR srad was introduced the first time.. i love growing up...

Heck ya! I remember that season, saw it on youtube. Too bad Ben lost out but he gave us a wonderful season.

Will see these videos soon (my netcon has crappy for the past couple of days).

Used to love the tests, was it Stever Martin or Steve Parish? Who ever it was, lucky guy.

Cheers
