Just google for "fz-16+wind tunnel test", you'll get many links suggesting that the fz16 also had a trip to the wind tunnel to analyze the air flow and maximize engine cooling efficiency.

And I don't know the exact procedure regarding the wind tunnel but the following link states that i am not entirely wrong.

Wind tunnel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lets drop it here as its an OT.

fz is also wind tunnell tested... esp. the scoops in front of the bike are tested for amount of air to be diverted to engine. I read that Yam spent a lot of time in that.

the moral of the story is every company is taking us from granted in some or the other way
its just the each company has different methods
everyone is here to earn money

it is all because there are still fools who buy it
and there will always be

we looking at the specs or FZ-16 and FZ-S know that it is over priced
but it is selling like cakes man
but the launch of 220 will be a nail seriously
specially if the engine is not upgraded
its sick man......
upgrading here is adding some cosmetics
no performance upgrades at all

hail bajaj for taking an initiative

i hope this fazer is a fail which will make yamaha realize that performance products are only needed .....
but i can just hope

^^^Looks good but yamaha must also consider tweaking an engine... otherwise i think this will not be a hit... coz the new P220 with <= price of FZ will be a good steal anyways and many will opt for P200(i think) and i personally prefer the FZ16 naked looks more than this one...

FZ 16 is overpriced, FZ S is overpriced and no doubt this faired version surely will be but it will sell nontheless. Reason there is a large number of posers out there with enough money who will go ahead and buy this too and as far as the performance figures are concerned they are way above such small things. Its for mere mortals like you and me to crib about bhp, torque, 0-60 timings, roll on figures and other such crap.
