You don't have to wait for scooters till next year, they are coming soon.
November may see a new commuter 100-125cc bike too.

i am also confident that this is the correct strategy by Yamaha,and this shows on by their continous growth in sales chart.They are very fastly catching up their deserved position in the premium segment

yes it is said that new scooterate may be launched in november but as per my information(friend who is yamaha dealer) it may be postponed to january-feburary(due to auto expo).Thats why i said scooterate is expected in early next year,by the way which scooterate do you think yamaha should launch,personally i just love Fino but may be they wont launch it.It may be bit simple looking one,and bike in the 125 should be in performance segment

But as Rajiv Bajaj has declared to launch an international class scooter recently, I guess Yamaha would also take that as a challenge and will launch its best product. don't you think so?

at this point a good tourer (fz20 at around 20bhp, 90-95k on road) would be an icing on the cake for yamaha, as r15 though being a awesome track tool and a good tourer is out of reach for most of the bikers and the fz can't be termed as very good tourer(fz fans including me so no hard feelings) due to lack of power felt by many. moreover they also have the 220dtsi, the new zma / honda 200 to worry about.

^^^
20Bhp tourer at 90-95k

Yamaha surely did a fair study of consumers to charge 10-15k premium over other bikes

^^ its already 10-15k premium over the new 220, isnt it?? and this figure may be in accordance with their fair study.

no yamaha wont launch a performance segment scooter in India,it would be very stupid if they do this now,scooter will definately be of an international series variant(read either fino,jog,axis,vino or any other scooter favourable to indian taste).I am sure Yamaha wont disappoint us.

friend its been cleared in my previous posts that Yamaha wont jump that far so early,this segment would be targetted once base is created after launch of Fazer,new 100-125cc bike,and 1-2 scooterate.After that they will try to catch up in 200cc and above segment(read fz,r &fazer series variants).Its a good strategy by Yamaha to launch the variants of their international series

Now thats a pretty agressive statement!
How can you be so sure about what you said in your previous posts?
Are you a CXO of Yamaha India by any chance, that you are thumping your opinion on us all here..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back;
and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
