hmm..worth or not ..i dont know man..but..
ppl who are not much into bigger cc engine..best stock..headlights..and rear disc..
and those who dont want their bike to look like any 2-3rd bike on road even after spending some 80ks will be buying fazer..
i feel fazer has no competition..
seriously

i mean come on..yamnaha bikes are like that..
  • fz 16 is the only naked bike....truly lord in looks..isnt this the only reason ppl payin for this lil overpriced bike...its worth it..
  • r15 is class apart from any other 150 cc bike available today..in every specification..so may it b looks..or..may b performance....definitely worth it..
  • and now fazer...for those who want semi faring..the only 150 cc bike with semi faring..widest stock rear tyres..monoshock..widest front fork..and for those who didnt by fz16 only bcoz its naked looks..yeah even i feel this bike is worth spending more than p220 or zima..for ppl want their bike look fresh..and unique..in its class..
yamaha is in league of their own..
so although they are overpriced..they are targetting only their customer base..
so even if they are worth their prize or not..yamaha dont have competition..but others have it ....if they dont act quickly..
  • p180 killin herohonda 150 bikes.. (and p200 too unfortunately)
  • P220dts-i goin to kill zima...
bcoz they are givin more in same prize..but yamaha never selectd that path..
Indian market is still prize sensitive.. and will be but..yamaha is not targetting it...neways..i think if some one is spendin for exclusivity..its definitely worth it..

Doest look like it does...althought the price surely says it should have one(projector)

The front view of the fairing really amuses me the most. the pilot light in the middle, reminds me of the similar one that Yamaha has in the R6(current model). I seriously love that in the R6 too...Wish we had something of that sort in the R15 aswell...but anyways...
Since the looks are out now...and performace figures may not significantly differ than the FZ-16(I hope im proved wrong) so i guess i would be patiently looking for the sales figure for this model...
Yamaha has met their sales target that was set for R15 and the FZ prior the estimated time...so i wish they do well with this model too.

5-6k costlier..
yamaha has launched the same bike twice...
and now it would be the third time...
at the fourth time i think it would be fully faired with same specs

Yeah..But i didnt expect 82k and all for a 150cc bike..
Now have to wait for itz official launch and have to decide between Fz-Fazer/P180

Isn't it just 7k more over stock FZ for a refreshed looks and fairing for who just want a unique refreshing looking bike ? ....

I have better ideas for Yamaha

- Auctioning slightly changed unique models
- Resort to limited editions -- I am sure there will still be many to buy those

I am sure there were many people (Yamaha fans included) who didn't like 'nakedness' of FZ-16/S, this model caters to such buyers.

Yeah..its definitely expensive..but..dude..
you own fz16 u know it gives worst avg for 150 cc bikes in india ..?? (dont count r15 in any general bike..)
dont u think..avg is too too too less for 150 cc bike..still u own this beast..
why??
i think u will get the answer for being overpriced...
ppl in india go for mileage..and price both..
fz16 lacks both the things considerably...still..it sells..
i dont think nethin will cost fazer stoppin for price reason..
but yeah..

launch of p220 has definitely hampered its market share..since they are givin more in less...prize..
