^ +1. Agree except for P220 downgrading.

Adding options is supposed to be a good thing, right? Atleast, now we can get a Half faired FZ6 lookalike, that still touches 100+. Is it that bad? I'm shocked at the response ...

Remember, Everything is not for us... There is Discover 100, Flame 125, etc. in the market that you and me don't like/ want. It doesn't mean we flame the manufacturers ...

and specially not Yamaha guys. They are our only ray of hope for bigger bikes .. (maybe Bajaj too).

let us first give Yamaha some more time to settle,i think they now want to capture scooter segment and then comes some more real performance bikes.I am sure Yamaha wont choose other Japs way because they just cant afford that way and they themselves know it v.well,i am sure they have learnt what people want from them(from past 10years experience)

Guys, I checked out FAZER in a test ride, but there ain't much to write about. The handlebars are new ones, which are a bit closer than FZ it seems at initial looks, maybe due to the big fairing.

The fairing overall added a weight of only 4 kgs, which is quite good, for such a good looking bike. Moreover, that headlight is replaced by 2 HeadLamps & a Pilot Lamp. Only one headlamp at a time guys, not both. One's for dipper and other's for straight light. The engine is same as FZ, and the same great Monoshock & grippy tyres.

The Key slot seems too harder to turn than FZ. The Rear View Mirrors are very Practical, and well attached, although they seem to be far, especially the rod attaching them.

But guys, the biggest Asset of this bike would be its looks. It's looks are so deceiving. FZ was no less, and then this came by! It's Presence is so damn overpowering, with all the best parts of FZ + this large fairing. Photos can make only for about 70% of its actual presence. This bike will surely be a head turner, and it resembles the Half Faired FZ6 from the front & top atleast. Below, we know its just a 153 Cubic Centimeters of combustion space.

What else to write? FZ-S was an FZ with a Crown. & FAZER is an FZ with a new head it seems!

The Showroom owner says the gearing is the same as FZ. As of now, I couldn't get a decently long ride as there was only one piece, and I couldn't examine the 5th gear. Other Parameters were almost the same as FZ as I couldn't spot a big difference. The Blue one. Here are some Pics:-->

And here's a Youtube Video of me shooting the FAZER inside the showroom.

@ samarath 619

How is the handling of the bike compared to FZ does the 4kg front fairing makes any difference in rideability of the bike ?

Handling is good, clearly at par with FZ, and despite the 4 kgs weight at the front, more of the weight was still in the middle of the bike. The bike was immensely controllable.

Spotted one yesterday, and one thing is for sure that this machine got some real road presence. It looks big, almost like a sbk.
