BTW, guys did you notice that teh Red bike has a Red tail section as opposed to the Black tail section on the FZ-16?

The seats on the bikes do not have the silver stripe that the FZ16 has. May be they have added a seat cover!

The front disc calipers is in Gold colour. FZ-16's calipers is in black.

an FI is something we can look out for but my personal hunch is that it won't have one.

The engine is an air cooled one. no radiator. The moment I saw those side panels I looked at the engine. It looks the same as the FZ16's engine block. Cannot comment on the internals though.

I have time and again seen persons here with internal news. How is it that we don't have any this time? Personally I just love the way FZ looks and have a lot of faith in its handling and engineering, If only they could give me a lil more power .....

My guess is they just plonked the fairing to see the dynamics change on the road. Maybe they were testing only the fairing. I agree with you that it most likely wouldn't come with an Fi. But I do think there would be some tweaking of the engine. What it needs is a bigger block, and I am sure everyone agrees on that.

I like bikes which come out with a fairing but not on this bike.this is a naked bike to start off with don't ruin its looks Yamaha. I still prefer the old FZ - it is one of the best looking bikes in the country - sans the speedometer.this makes it look like a cheap mod

hey guys.. just a thought,

if this is the same old mill then why test it so extensively or even test it?? i mean they did not test the fz-s like this...(or we did not have the pics of it being tested ) i feel its like add a fairing, check the wind drag (which can be done in their wind tunnel) and check for the turning radius an some other stuff which can very well be done in closed surroundings. i think they are testing it as extensively as the fz-16 prior to its launch. now the only question is why??

i may not be correct but just give a thought on these lines.
