Default The P220 effect :). Hero Honda to launch new Karizma

Quote:
To counter the advent of Yamaha YZF R15 and new pulsar 220cc, Hero Honda plans to launch new karizma. As expected the new karizma gets cosmetic styling changes in front fairing and rear cowl. It might also get a LED tail lamp cluster as in CBZ Xtreme and a new exhaust. The new karizma will also get gas charged reservoir suspension as in the Hunk. However whether the new Karizma is Fuel Injected or not?? we cannot confirm now. But what we can say you is the new karizma gets a rear disc brake. The need for disc brake might be because of upward revising of power and torque ratings.
I love Bajaj, it pulls out the best out of the other manufactureres :d

It says "upward revising of power and torque" but doesn't mention anything about this any place else. Will have to wait and watch as far as anything "new" from Hero Honda is concerned.

As per the article a new zma is on the cards. The magazine has published a spy pic of the test mule. Some of the new features as per the magazine are-new front fairing and side and tail pieces,a hunk like rear mudguard along with a rear disc setup, rear gas shocks, though its not sure whether the new zma wud get a fuel injection.

The bike would though retain the touring stance.

Don't have too big expectation from this bike. The bike looks out of proportion to me w.r.t to the rider. The tyres are too thin. Yes there is a rear disc & most prpbably a full fairing but there is a high possibility of a new Karizma with just the addition of full fairing & rear disc(Maybe the PGM Fi) or even a stunner with full frame. The silencer, the riding position, the brake lever, rear mud guard,GRS all point towards it being a Honda/HH product.

Btw did I see golden colour clutch cover?

The front discs are from the Karizma. I can almost see a full fairing. I just hoped they at least pumped out a lil more from that same mill with Fi. Maybe the tyres look thinner from this angle?
