Default The Great Ireland Roadtrip on a BMW R1200ST

The Great Ireland Roadtrip on a Moto Guzzi Norge

Starting tomorrow, I am embarking on my first journey as an official travel journalist, but of course on a motorcycle.

I will be covering Ireland in 15 days, the whole country with its magnificent castles, beaches and more.

i will be riding a Moto Guzzi Norge, which is a 1200 CC monster of a tourer.

The official website where you can keep track of me and the trip is:

The website does not have much now except the route and a brief, but expect a lot of stuff once I start on the trip.

My first stop from Delhi is Dublin.

The route is here: The Route The Great Ireland Roadtrip

I am taking a Canon 5D and 500D along with a 100-400 IS L, 24-105 IS L, 10-22 mm, 100mm Macro, 70-200mm L, 50 mm 1.8.

I want to thank everyone who helped me in the course that followed the realization of this trip notably : Old Fox, Anurag Ashok, Krishnendu Kes and Aryan.

I hope that I will be able to bring you Ireland magnificently through blogs and photos.

Magnificent! All the best for yet another roadtrip Sunny. Ireland, as we know is a beautiful country. Coupled with a Moto Guzzi, I am sure it would seem even more pretty!

Ride safe, and we all will be eagerly awaiting updates.

P.S:
The 100-400L, 28-105L... Phew!

Shoot me the statue of Joyce in Dublin for me and get me a signed copy of Ulysses or Finnegan's Wake.

All the best to you Sunny. Will be eagerly watching this space. Hoping you have a great ride, lovely weather and the rest!

was it easier to get into Ireland than Northern Ireland (UK) or destination was already planned?

all the best for the trip.... just watch out for the minor rain showers though I am sure you will have great time riding at this time of the year.
