Default LIVE:Passion Hunt All India Roadtrip Updates!

UPDATE ON 28th JANUARY 09:

The ride is starting on Feb 2nd from Delhi. The route is here.

xBhp is ready with the next step to promote motorcycling as a lifestyle in India. I start with this brief message which will finally lead to a monumental journey that shall for long remain a bright spot in the annals of modern motorcycling in India.

Superbiking is picking up in this country like never before. Yamaha has been the first one with the R1 and the MT-01 and the other biggies from the global motorcycling circuit are to follow suit. xBhp has ever been the trendsetting epicenter of the motorcycle scene in India and this ride shall be the harbinger of performance biking with all its glamour, precision, state-of-the-art technology embedded within the age old charm of traveling cross-country.

This ride shall take the message of enjoyable and safe motorcycling on performance motorcycles to each and every corner of the country. Four riders, with a passion for riding, a promise to do it safe and well and with the capacity to put across the message of safety not just through their riding but also through their attitude, words and demeanour. More than 16,000kms in 3 months.

The Bikes
2 Yamaha R1's and 2 R-15's.
Both the R-1's and one R-15 shall be on road while the second R-15 shall follow in the support vehicle.

The Riders
4 Men willing to put in 3-months of constant, uninterrupted and dedicated effort involved in living and breathing performance motorcycling while riding across this rich and diverse nation. Tentative date for the start of the ride is third week of November 2008.

Wow! This is tremendous. Hope to see the details really soon. Just one query Sunny - has the dates been fixed?

EDIT: Oops! My bad; just noticed the tentative starting date.

another inspirational, motivational, and educational endeavour from xbhp and sunny (and obviously the other mystery riders). all the more praiseworthy after the tragedy which had struck xbhp a while back.

cant wait to see this roadtrip taking off.

congrats to sunny, and the xbhp team for making this a reality.

and all the very best. the theme couldnt have been more apt.

(are those '08 R1's?)

Another xBhp-worthy trip in the making! Wish I could be a part of it

Let's have a guessing session on who the riders are so far. (Sorry Sunny, couldn't help )

1) Ken - R1
2) Sunny - R1

EDIT: How come there's no MT-01?

How I wish..

It's ironic how being well paid enough to get an R1 means you have to work long enough NOT to do rides like these

Can't wait for the 'GIR - RELOADED' caravan to hit Bengaluru
May this venture surpass the success of the first GIR..!!

Cheers..!!

@rossiter:

totally understand you buddy. but personally, i would've loved to see you doing this ride. sunny, rossiter and ken each on their R1's. that would have made a very very interesting combo. but cheer up, there's always a next time.
